Kate Herbert-Roche is a practicing Sussex based artist. She seeks truth through honest application of paint to capture moments of beauty in her own world. Kate takes inspiration from the Sussex landscape, and from the people and the class-based diversity of her surroundings, past and present. She works primarily in oils but also explores drawing, printmaking and photography.

Kate graduated with a BA in Fine Art from the University of Gloucestershire in 2007 and has exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, NEAC, Townhouse Open and Chelsea Art Society. Her work is on show and in private collections both in the UK and in Australia.
